More Info About My Practice

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion in treating trauma and anxiety. I have more than a decade of extensive experiences working with children and adults. I have specialized training from world-renowned clinicians in confronting unmanageable thoughts and behaviors resulting from unresolved trauma and abandonment.

I completed my post-doctoral studies in eating disorders and trauma resolution, and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a proven effective for the treatment of trauma. My methods utilize evidenced-based treatment approaches focused on addressing your specific issues. When not working with clients I am a Disaster Mental Health Volunteer for the Phoenix Chapter of the American Red Cross where I provide support to individuals and families involved in major disasters or emergency situations.

In addition, I offer distance counseling via internet-based video conference for those who are not able to come to my office. For busy people this is a way to eliminates hours lost for travel time to appointments.
