My Approach to Helping
Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we will ever do” Brene Brown. In the midst of suffering, meeting the challenges of life, and processing our emotions… life can feel overwhelming and daunting. Whether it is self identity work, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, working through childhood trauma, or myriad of other issues, it can be hard to take the next step, or to even get a sense of what you want that step to be. We yearn to make sense of our experiences, find solid ground, and to reclaim and belong to ourselves.
I am here to help you grow healthy relationships with yourself and others as you journey forward. I focus on offering couples and families evidence-based care in a strength-focused and compassion-filled space. As we work together, we will focus on discovering and meeting your goals, processing emotions, and building tools for resiliency and healing.
I believe therapy should be collaborative, transparent, and rooted in human kindness. My counseling is multicultural, trauma-informed, and takes a systemically focused “Birdseye view” of problem orientation and solutions. I tailor my approaches and interventions to meet your specific needs and keep you involved in the process every step of the way.
