What's My Approach to Therapy?

***I have immediate availability!*** I have spent most of my adult life working with children who have experienced trauma or neglect. Working with this population led me to find creative approaches for helping challenging children. I have done a lot of work with classroom management and helping children who struggle to stay focused at school. Using play and a brain-based approach, I can help parents and children work together to overcome challenges. My background in ethical non-monogamy and couple's therapy has helped me to create a system of helping people who want to expand their relationships into something that is more fulfilling. I work with couples and polycules to work through hard feelings, bring you back to feeling secure in your connection, and work on dismantling the socialization of monogamy. I help people figure out what their needs and wants are so that they can effectively communicate them and have the unique and fulfilling relationships that they want.

My Practice & Services

I believe that everyone has the capacity to heal, change, and grow. I have a strong belief in the power of community and I think that we all need a variety of people and perspectives in our lives. I am very aware of the systemic oppression in this country and around the world and I work on dismantling those systems through activism and community change. I am trying to make the world a better place a little bit at a time. I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and I am active in marches and community actions. Through my own therapy, I have overcome religious and sexual trauma, panic attacks, anxiety, and depression. I think that healing is a life-long journey, but I have the tools to get me where I need to go, and I can help you as well. Please message me if you want to learn more about how I can help!
