My Approach to Helping
Are you finding it tough to manage life's ups and downs, from everyday stressors to recent setbacks, losses, crises, or changes? I have witnessed the healing and growth that can occur when folks have a safe place to share and understand their story, and build skills to better manage their struggles. With training in ACT, DBT, CBT, and psychodynamic theory, I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs and situation, acknowledging that you are the expert in your own life. I possess significant experience supporting transitional age youth (ages 18-30) grappling with anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, identity questions, and adjustment difficulties. I also have considerable experience working with adults across the lifespan experiencing suicidal thoughts, anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, psychosis, trauma, and grief.
