My approach to therapy is influenced by Aaron Beck who founded Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Many people struggle with misconceptions about themselves. These misconceptions are created by the environment. I use CBT to help people change those misconceptions so that they can feel better about themselves and have a more positive outlook on life. I am also trained in and use EMDR to help people desensitize from traumatic experiences.
I also have training Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy and often use this approach to deepen the connection with couples.
