My Approach to Helping
Searching for a psychotherapist can be difficult. My practice is focused on providing an empathic, compassionate, and non-judgmental therapeutic approach. I provide a warm collaborative environment respecting each person's unique history, culture, struggles, strengths, and goals. Like many people, you may feel stuck in your life and may be encountering repeated difficulties. When left untreated, anxiety, difficulties managing feelings, relationship issues, depressions, and inhibitions can significantly impact one's life. I focus on working together to help promote your growth, expand your capacity to think and feel, and learn new and more adaptive ways of coping with your life challenges.
If you are a parent, you may be concerned about your child, your child's behavior, and your child's development. In my work with children and adolescents, I work to help restore the childadolescent to a progressive developmental track. I focus on helping them (and helping their parents help them) to develop their capacity to use their emotions for growth and learning rather than feeling controlled or overwhelmed by them. I work collaboratively with parents as active partners in their child's treatment.
