My Approach to Helping
I provide a supportive, comfortable, and positive setting for people in therapy, because I recognize how difficult it may be for individuals to speak about their personal issues. My counseling style is respectful, nonjudgmental, compassionate, and honest. My primary goal is to help my clients find lasting happiness and balance in their lives.
I am a licensed professional counselor who provides treatment for a variety of concerns, including relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, LGBTQ+ and life transitions. I offer care to individuals, couples and families of all ages. I specialize in treating individuals with trauma-related issues such as physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, unresolved grief, or exposure to warfare or natural disasters. I am also a certified counselor in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
