My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and a Distance Certified Counselor with over fifteen years experience helping adults, teenagers, and couples who are struggling with a variety of conflicts and problems. I utilize non-judgmental support so that clients can safely explore issues they have been unable to resolve on their own. My approach is designed to help navigate unresolved problems, conflicts, and emotional pain. My intent is to always provide a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment, so that every client may achieve a pronounced sense of peace and fulfillment in their lives and in their relationships. My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy provides a unique and safe place for individuals, couples, and families to be heard and understood. It is about forging a relationship based on trust, honesty and authenticity. Good therapy is conversational and non-judgmental, and is based on the idea that true healing begins within the therapeutic relationship.
