I believe that healing begins with understanding, and my approach to care is grounded in respect, active listening, and building trust with my patients. As a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I'm dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that addresses both your immediate needs and long-term wellness goals.
My career has given me a unique perspective on the vital connection between physical and mental health. I began my nursing career at Georgetown University Hospital, working in neurology and neurosurgery, where I developed a deep appreciation for how our brain health impacts our emotional well-being. This foundation has proven invaluable as I transitioned into psychiatric nursing, where I've gained extensive experience across diverse settings.
I've worked on Yale New Haven Hospital's inpatient psychiatric unit, served on Stamford Hospital's psychiatric consult-liaison team working with patients in emergency and medical settings, and provided outpatient psychiatric care through medication management and therapy. This broad experience means I understand mental health challenges across the full spectrum—from acute crises to ongoing outpatient support.
I take a comprehensive approach to psychiatric care, recognizing that you are a whole person, not just a diagnosis. Whether you're struggling with depression, anxiety, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), bipolar condition, or other mental health conditions, I work collaboratively with you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your values and goals. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with therapeutic support, ensuring you receive both the medical expertise and emotional understanding you deserve.
I'm committed to supporting you through every stage of your mental health journey, meeting you exactly where you are with compassion and clinical excellence.

Groups I Work With
I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges. My experience spans different life stages and circumstances, allowing me to provide specialized care for diverse populations.
I have extensive experience working with individuals in crisis situations, having served on psychiatric emergency teams and inpatient units. This includes supporting those who have been hospitalized for mental health concerns or have visited emergency rooms during psychiatric crises and need ongoing stabilization and care.
I work with individuals experiencing complex mental health conditions that require medication management, including treatment-resistant depression, bipolar condition, severe anxiety conditions, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), and other psychiatric challenges that have not responded well to therapy alone.
My background in neurology and neurosurgery has given me unique insight into working with individuals who have co-occurring neurological and psychiatric conditions, as well as those navigating the mental health impacts of medical illnesses.
I also support individuals at various life transitions—whether you are a young adult establishing independence, a working professional managing career stress, or an older adult navigating life changes and health concerns. My approach is adaptable to meet the specific needs of each population, recognizing that mental health care is not one-size-fits-all.
Regardless of where you are in your mental health journey, I am here to provide the comprehensive psychiatric care you need, with the compassion you deserve.
