My Approach to Helping

Being a Jungian Analyst is more than a vocation, it’s a calling. As a Certified Jungian Analyst, my work with clients not only focuses on struggles of everyday life but also explores deeper meaning in our suffering. Traditional psychotherapy often attempts to elevate symptoms without exploring intrapsychic (internal energetic) imbalances that create symptomatology. Carrying the burden of painful life events without a soulful relationship to our inner world can feel unbearable. Dropping down into the recesses of inner life can provide rebirth and renewal during times of struggle and despair. Let’s walk this leg of life’s journey together in service to deeper understanding and honoring your authentic self.

There are many channels to reach this greater self-knowledge. The analysis of dreams is the most common, but others may include expressing feelings in art pieces, poetry or other expressions of creativity. Jungian psychology has an honoring and sacred way of understanding human behavior that often lacks in more traditional forms of psychotherapy. Each individual’s life path carries meaning and opportunities for growth through greater understanding of life events.

Groups I Work With

My therapeutic work has spanned a varied client population that has challenged me to develop myself personally and professionally. From either my Irvine or Long Beach offices, I enter into a therapeutic relationship with an honoring attitude and a deeply felt desire to understand and support my clients. Each individual’s path in life is littered with suffering in its different forms. I see my part in my client’s journey to aid in developing a deeper understanding of this suffering and meaning to what may feeling meaningless in the moment. Whether it be symptoms that are upsetting the delicate balance of an individual’s life, conflict with a loved one, or just feeling unhappy, let’s get together and work toward improving your overall life satisfaction.
