Welcome! Thank you for visiting my profile. I know it takes courage to begin the search for counseling services and I want to honor and congratulate you for taking the first step. Healing is a process and a journey and the first step is always the hardest, but it is the most important.

At A Loving Hope, it is my mission to assist in the healing of hearts and the restoring of families. Regardless of the circumstance you may find yourself in at this moment, there is always hope, and by faith, and with love, you, your marriage, and your family can be restored.

Through the journey of life, we are all faced with challenges, trials, and tribulations. Whether individually, in marriage, or in the family system, struggles are a natural part of life, but so is healing. Healing is a process, and that process may start only with you, it may be you and your spouse, or it may be your entire family. Whoever is ready to start on the journey to healing, I invite you to begin now. It would be an honor to walk with you on your journey. Please call today to schedule your initial assessment and take the first step toward restoration.

More Info About My Practice

My primary specialty is Marriage and Family Therapy. I see both pre-marital and married couples interested in relationship enhancement, as well as those struggling with communication, trust, infidelity, and life stages issues. I also work with couples undergoing separation or divorce seeking to maintain a healthy relationship to support co-parenting.

My Family Therapy specialty is mother-daughter relationships, particularly during the adolescent phase. I also work extensively with entire families of all ages during life transitions, as well as to mend intergenerational wounds and maladaptive patterns. I have considerable experience working with families in crisis as the result of trauma, suicide, and mental illness.

My Individual Therapy specialty is women?s issues, particularly eating disorders, emotional, sexual, and physical abuse, substance abuse, self-esteem, and grief and bereavement. I work with women of all ages, from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. I offer Biblical Counseling if requested for women who seek to heal from a faith-based foundation.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Having the opportunity and privilege of being able to assist individuals, couples, and families on their journies of healing and to be able to see the amazing transformations.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to coach, encourage, and support you, your marriage, and/or your family on your path to restoration. Often, all it takes is someone walking alongside you to give you the hope, strength, and solution that has been there all along.

My Therapy Focus

To coach, encourage, and assist you, your marriage, and/or family to the fullest potential.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I believe we were all created with a purpose and that we have encountered and overcome struggles to be of use in the lives of others. I believe that God does indeed cause all things to work together for good. I have seen this over and over again in my life and my work.
