My Approach to Helping
Trying to find the right help for yourself or your child can be overwhelming even at the best of times. I work to provide a safe and accepting environment where we work collaboratively to utilize your strengths, gain insight, and overcome past and present challenges.
I use an individualized, person-centered approach in therapy which allows me to tailor aspects of multiple different approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused CBT in order to help each person reach their individualized mental health goals.
I specialize in working with adolescents, families, and individuals. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, and families in inpatient and outpatient settings, providing therapy for a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, anger, ADHD, trauma, self-harm, LGBTQ+, and family support.
I am passionate about working with adolescents, families, and individuals to help them feel heard, engage in healthy and positive behaviors, and discover their own sources of strength and potential. I look forward to hearing from you!
