My Approach to Helping
Do you feel stuck in old patterns and beliefs about yourself? Are you looking for a non-judgemental, open space to explore your identity? Are you feeling overwhelmed by life and don’t know where to start? Taking the first step can be challenging and scary. I’m here to provide a safe space to help guide you on your journey of personal growth and exploration.
I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in California with 6 years of clinical experience. I have experience working with a variety of diagnoses and issues including depression, anxiety, substance use, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), psychosis, domestic violence, life transitions, LGBTQIA+ issues, and gender identity.
I have worked with diverse populations including homeless and low-income adults, survivors of domestic violence, youth, and families. My approach is psychodynamic, strengths-based, client-centered, and collaborative. I use a social justice lens and take into account how cultural identity and oppression influence our world views and experiences. By meeting my clients where they are at in their journey, I can better support and empower them to break through barriers that are keeping them from living a fulfilling life as their authentic selves.
