My Approach to Helping
I believe that my clients (children, too) already have great wisdom within, therefore, I use a client-centered approach to highlight and foster trust in this wise, inner self. I like to focus on what is positive and working, while joining my clients in a collaborative effort to solve problems and become better and more assertive communicators or parents. I am relaxed and humorous, but I don't hesitate to offer information, based on my training and extensive experience with children and families, as well as related suggestions and guidance.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
This is very personal to each client, but my opinion is that it is to understand yourself and others more fully, so you have satisfying relationships and feel happier.
