My Approach to Helping
My name is Judy Manfredi and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California. I have provided therapy services for 11 years in both nonprofit organizations and County organizations throughout my career. I often utilize a client-centered approach to collaborate with the clients and their families in supporting them through the therapeutic relationship and help assist each client build on their existing strength and live their best possible life. I see children, teens, adults, and dependent adults who struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, grief, anger, and family relational issues.
I have been trained in TF-CBT (trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy), EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing). I have taken extensive training, for trauma, personality disorders, major depressive disorders, and anxiety disorders. I am a resource for the LGBTQ community, to utilize when they are struggling, as I have experience and training working with this community. I deeply enjoy my work and hold the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client in very high regard.
