My Approach to Helping
I have a motto that states, “Not everyone needs therapy, but everyone can benefit from therapy.” Your decision to engage in therapy is a great start to prioritizing your mental health, relationships, and well-being. You live in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment that demands you to be many things to many people. Depletion of your physical and emotional reserve can lead to compromised physical and mental health, relationship conflict, and an unfulfilled life. As a multi-faceted and high-performing individual, you may need to pause and experience balance to prevent or lessen the effects of burnout and exhaustion.
With 15 years of partnering with clients in therapy, I provide adult individual and couples counseling. It is my hope you will find a therapist you can partner with and establish collaborative goals to overcome the challenge you face today.
My work in hospital settings with medical staff largely informs my approach as a warm, genuine, and practical therapist who relies on relevant science and advances in research to facilitate change and progress. I value diversity, trust, and am committed to promoting a safe and non-judgmental space. To learn if we might be a good fit, feel free to contact me.
