My Approach to Helping
My specialties include working with people who have experienced difficult parental upbringings that include things like alcoholism or emotionally immature parents, as well as adults in recovery
dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, or life transitions, including veterans.
I use cognitive and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) techniques in sessions in addition to interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT) to assist with how relationships affect mood and how mood can affect relationships. My goal is to help you navigate life's difficult moments and fully become who you truly are.
