My Approach to Helping
I am a licensed social worker who earned my Bachelor's degree in Child Advocacy and Policy from Montclair State University, followed by my Master's degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. I have experience working with children both individually and in group settings. Additionally, I've worked with first responders who volunteered to assist during the rescue and recovery efforts following the attacks of 9/11. As a result, I have worked with clients of various ages, backgrounds, and experiences.
My ideal client is a young person, whether a child, adolescent, or young adult, struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, emotional regulation, or relationships (platonic, familial, romantic) challenges. They may feel overwhelmed by school, family pressures, or transitions into
adulthood. They want to feel confident, balanced, and understood, seeking tools to navigate their emotions and build healthier connections.
I specialize in supporting children, teens, and young adults through anxiety, stress, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. My approach combines evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, empowering them to build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and
strengthen resilience.
