My Approach to Helping
"We repeat what we don't repair"- Christine Langley-Obaugh
My approach to helping is to create a warm, non-judgmental setting to help my clients achieve their full growth potential. I provide a collaborative atmosphere with my clients for healing to occur, tailoring my approach to what works best for you instead of a one-size-fits-all modality. My goal is to give you the tools to be better able to cope with unwanted emotions. I consider it a privilege to assist you as you embark on your care journey.
I am well-trained in a variety of evidenced-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), family systems, and play therapy techniques with children. Additionally, I have a special interest in couples therapy and work out of a Gottman and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy perspective. I am a generalist practitioner and treat a variety of clinical concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief.
I would be honored to serve as your clinician.
