My Approach to Helping
The throes of life can present stressors that disable us leaving us feeling ineffective and helpless. Whether you have experienced a minor setback, a complete crisis, or anything in between, life's difficulties can be opportunities for growth. My approach is supportive and non-judgmental. I seek to empower people with the tools and skills that they need to understand, confront, cope with andor manage their life's stressors. I believe that no one individual is the same and am here to treat the "Whole" you holistically and compassionately. I use an eclectic approach to traditional therapy and draw upon many inspirations in my practice. My goal is to inspire creative solutions to the challenges you may face and help realize your true potential to facilitate growth
More Info About My Practice
I graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, along with a Post-Master’s in School Counseling from Kean University in New Jersey, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kean University. My experience includes individual and group therapy for people of all ages, coming from diverse social, economic, and cultural backgrounds, and living with a broad range of mental illnesses or emotional pain due to life stressors.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with Snoopy (my Havanese), and my husband. I love sitting by the fire with a great book and a cup of tea when it’s cold outside, and going on nature hikes when the temperature starts to thaw out a bit. One of my other passions is spending time in the kitchen, cooking up delicious meals for my family.
