My Approach to Helping
Welcome! Living with anxiety is like being on a carousel of nonstop thoughts. Anxiety and its best friend the inner critic has you stuck on a loop of worry, negative self talk, and shame. Your inner dialogue feels like a dark cloud of constant chatter pointing out mistakes and flaws, affecting your self-esteem, and limiting your potential. Daily suffering is intense when we feel this way.
In our work together, we greet emotions with compassion, curiosity, and allow them to be fully expressed. We can explore how life experiences may have shaped the person you are today. With a greater awareness of your inner world, you can consciously unhook yourself from suffering and then are free to make changes that align with your true self.
Life can also be stressful and confusing for teens. I help teens to increase their self-esteem, make sense of their world, learn how to manage emotions and change behaviors that are impacting their home and school life.
