My Approach to Helping
I practice psychotherapy to help you do two things. One is to liberate yourself from the negative self-beliefs, self-destructive behavior patterns, and chronic anxiety, depression or anger you developed during your childhood or teen years as a consequence of family dysfunctions like parental substance abuse, parental mental illness, emotional neglect, invalidation, physical or sexual abuse, and overt parental favoritism of another sibling. The other is to help you actualize your full potential as a human being as you learn to experience self-compassion, self-acceptance, healthy self-love, and joy. When you welcome each new day as a blessing instead of seeing them as a chore, a burden or a curse you are healed.
