My Approach to Helping

I am a relationship specialist who focuses on treating professional couples. I also provide post-divorce breakup counseling for individuals.

I am a relationship specialist. Whether it's an affair, broken communication, lost intimacy, safety, or trust, or simply a desire to improve or recover your connection, I help couple's find a path to get there. One of the bigger challenges of modern couple’s therapy is translating what happens in the therapy office to home. Inspired therapy doesn’t often equal change, it offers fleeting insights. Giving couples the tools to take home and transfrom their relationships, is the real work. I’ve developed an effective process to deliver those tools, and then I nurture it with skill building. I also offer post-divorce and couples (addiction) recovery counseling. I regularly work professional couples in high demand roles, including those in the medial, mental health, and media industries.
As for me, I'm a seasoned pro with private practice and big agency experience. I've led groups, couples workshops, adventure counseling excursions, and served as graduate faculty. I've worked alongside popular healers like Don Miguel Ruiz Jr. too. Specialties include communication and boundaries work, and addiction recovery. I am also a veteran who works with vets including veteran couples in the special forces communities.
Seeking help is not a sign of weakness. Surrendering is not a quit. While I believe we all hold the keys to our own healing, getting a new vantage point to better view our challenges can be useful from time to time. Compassionate guidance can offer the space to fine tune perspectives and unlock the insights needed to discover the next most important step.
