My Approach to Helping
For each individual feeling better will look different and as a clinician I would love to go on this journey with you; helping you discover what values, wants and needs you have in order to build a life worth living. I have experience working with individuals suffering from feeling stuck in the same patterns whether that’s thought patterns or with substances, life transitions, depression, anxiety, coping with stress, disordered eating, balance in life. In session with me you can expect to discover and honor your strengths, learn how to practice self-compassion and improve your relationship with your thoughts, and learn how to make decisions in your life that feel more aligned with your authentic self. I draw from elements of cognitive approaches in therapy including CBT, DBT and ACT simultaneously processing from here and now experiences. People would describe me as a 'hype' person while also providing a grounding, quirky and fun loving space to address their concerns.
