I am a psychologist and psychoanalyst with over 20 years of experience in both private practice and psychotherapy clinic settings. I work with adults and adolescents in individual psychotherapy and psychoanalysis as well as providing consultation for parents of young children and adolescents. While I am not in-network with any insurance companies, I provide monthly statements that can be used for insurance reimbursement.

The most important factor in choosing a therapist is the feeling of emotional connection or "fit" that you have with that person. If you feel that a therapist is truly interested in getting to know you, is emotionally engaged, warm, kind, thoughtful and intelligent, you've got a keeper.

Many people believe that receiving psychotherapy means you are weak, flawed, can't handle life on your own or are even "crazy". That is absolutely not true. We are all social beings who need others to survive both physically and psychologically.
