What's My Approach to Therapy?
You’re likely here because something feels stuck—maybe the same argument keeps repeating, intimacy feels strained, or you’re carrying a private worry you can’t quite name without shame. You might be a couple trying to rebuild trust or find your way back to each other. You might be a man navigating stress, identity, and the pressure to hold it all together while feeling alone inside it. Whatever brought you here, I respect the courage it takes to look for help—especially when the problems are personal and hard to talk about.
My practice focuses on three core areas: couples counseling (EFT and attachment-based work), sex therapy, and work with compulsive sexual behavior (“sex addictionâ€) and related relationship fallout. I help couples identify the cycle they get trapped in—pursuing, withdrawing, escalating, shutting down—and build new patterns of safety, responsiveness, and repair. In sex therapy, I work with individuals and couples around desire discrepancy, performance anxiety, erections and ejaculation concerns, shame, and the emotional dynamics that shape sexuality far more than technique does. When sex or porn use has become compulsive or values-conflicted, we take an approach that is structured, non-shaming, and oriented toward honesty, accountability, and reconnection.
I’m integrative and depth-oriented in how I work. We’ll draw from EFT’s emotional and attachment science, psychodynamic therapy to understand the roots of patterns, and mindfulnesssomatic awareness to help you relate differently to stress, urges, and emotional reactivity in real time. Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and direct: we’ll name what’s happening, make sense of it together, and practice new ways of responding—so change isn’t just insight, but something you can actually live.
The goal isn’t a temporary fix. It’s more freedom, more self-trust, and more satisfying connection—with yourself and with the people you love. If you’re wondering whether we’re a fit, I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to help you decide on the next step.
My Practice & Services
I offer evening and Sunday appointments, which can make therapy more workable for adults and couples balancing demanding jobs, relationships, and other responsibilities. I want the work to be not only emotionally meaningful, but also realistically accessible.
