My Approach to Helping

Hello! I am a Licensed Psychologist with 17 years of experiencing providing counseling to adolescents and adults. My style is warm, curious, and laid back. My goal is to listen deeply and carefully in order to understand you and your unique experiences. I strive to create an environment that is collaborative and welcoming. Through this safe, therapeutic relationship, we can explore and understand your past experiences so that you can relate more freely with others, have more satisfying relationships, and gain greater self-awareness and confidence. My therapeutic approach is rooted in attachment, relational, and psychodynamic approaches, meaning that I value how your relationships influence and support you.

More Info About My Practice

I am based out of Jacksonville, FL, but offer counseling via telehealth throughout the entire state of Florida. People seek my assistance with many different problems including depression, grief, anxiety, identity and self-esteem difficulties, social anxiety, relationship problems, life transitions, and worklife balance, and many, many more. I also enjoy working with college students and women experiencing perinatal concerns (trying to conceive, stressful pregnancy, post-partum difficulty, pregnancy loss or termination, and pregnancy after loss).

To get started you can email, call, or schedule an appointment on my website. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help us decide if we are a good fit.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Counseling can be helpful when you feel like you do not have the personal resources to get through a difficult situation or time in your life. You may feel like you are drowning, can't breathe, or that there is an elephant on your chest. Sometimes there is a trigger and sometimes it's hard to identify one. Therapy can help you gain awareness into your difficulties and help you find the first step forward. I am honored to walk this path with my clients.
