My Approach to Helping
Your relationship with your therapist will be different than any other type of relationship. As such, it is extremely important that you feel comfortable with that therapist so that you may achieve the growth that you are seeking. As a therapist, my first goal is to establish a welcoming and accepting environment to help put you at ease and allow you to express your innermost concerns. Once a relationship is established, it is important that both you and your therapist decide the direction you would like to go. I do not use one type of therapy for each client. Instead, I use a combination of therapies to provide you with a treatment that is most well-suited to you. I will encourage feedback from you along the way because I want to know what works best for you. You are the most important person in the therapeutic relationship.
