How Psychotherapy Can Help
Psychotherapy aims to assist you in making healthy decisions for your life and resolve any interpersonal issues. During psychotherapy, you may learn things about yourself that you have never known before. Unlocking your subconscious mind may reveal something that's been hidden for years. Through counseling, building your self-esteem, replenishing your relationships, and achieving your personal goals can all be accomplished. Cognitive-behavioral therapy is my primary therapeutic approach. The cognitive-behavioral approach teaches that our thoughts affect our feelings, and our emotions shape our behaviors. With the help of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), my objective is to assist you in changing those negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors into more positive thoughts, feelings, and actions that can enhance the quality of your life.
My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
No one is exempt from experiencing life's problems. At some point in life, we all will face some challenges. I have learned that everyone does not have the proper coping skills to deal with those problems. Counseling is one way you can learn to deal with those problems. I believe counseling can help you develop the skills you need to face life's challenges. Change is hard. But with commitment and hard work, positive change is possible.
