My Approach to Helping
Are you struggling with worries, sadness, fears or stress? Have you noticed a change from how things used to be to how they are right now? Have you ever wanted to figure out why or how your brain works? If you answered yes, or even maybe, then now is the time to reach out. My style is warm, attuned, and empathetic to be able to meet you at whichever stage of life you're in and to help explore the difficulties that arise in everyday life. I will actively listen to your experiences from a strengths-based perspective while also working with you to build the necessary skills to improve confidence and reduce stress. You deserve the opportunity to feel heard, respected, and safe. I strive to work with you to make steps towards living a life that feels satisfying and fulfilled. I enjoy working with children, teens, young adults, and families for therapy. I specialize in working with stress management, social skills, early childhood, autism and neurodiversity, attachment concerns, trauma, PTSD, anxiety and depression. I also specialize in providing psychological assessments from a neurodiversity-affirmative, strengths-based, and collaborative lens.
Receiving a psychological evaluation does not mean you have to begin therapy services. In some cases this may be recommended, however there are many situations where people are curious to learn more about themselves without wanting to take steps towards starting therapy. If you are interested in testing-only, reach out to me via email for a free consultation where we can discuss the process.
