My Approach to Helping

I value developing true connections with the individuals I meet with because that is how real change can occur in the therapy hour. I incorporate contemporary and well-researched approaches to therapy, which primarily focuses on utilizing a healthy therapeutic relationship to restructure and strengthen the individual's emotional world. I bring warmth and compassion to each session so people feel as comfortable as possible. I use a practical, relational, and compassionate approach to help people feel empowered and capable of achieving a significant level of change in their lives. I believe providing a safe and welcoming environment is key to the therapeutic process and I encourage people I meet with to take an active and collaborative role in their treatment so it is unique and tailored to their specific needs and goals.
