My Approach to Helping

Are you ready to heal and feel well? Change your patterns? Discover your sense of self? I believe we all have the capacity to do so, but that can be difficult to do on your own while facing life’s challenges. I can help you overcome people-pleasing, increase confidence, improve relationships, break patterns, develop self-compassion, manage ADHD and more. I am here to help you identify and meet your unique needs and goals in life.

I have experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, academic stress, relational issues, parenting, body image and eating issues, sexual and gender identity, and more. I use an integrative approach, using DBT, emotion focused, interpersonal and Internal Family Systems (parts work) to identify your patterns, discover all parts of yourself, develop self-compassion, self-regulate and make lasting changes. I also offer QEEGs, red light therapy and Neurofeedback to target symptoms by regulating your brain and nervous system.

You are so much more than the issues that you experience, and together, we can take a holistic approach to seek your healing and well-being. I am here to listen without judgment and lend you the compassion and support to overcome your personal challenges so that you can be the person you want to be and live the kind of life that you want to live.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

As a therapist with ADHD, I uniquely understand the challenges of living in a neurotypical world. Particularly being diagnosed later in life, I can help clients process their experiences, come to a place of acceptance and learn how to work with ADHD instead of against it through understanding your brain. There are so many strategies to learn to accommodate to your unique set of symptoms and thrive in work, at school and in your relationships. Through our work together, we can find those strategies as well as build self-compassion and self-confidence.
