My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with people to find healing and to connect more deeply to themselves and their relationships. Watching people who have felt disconnected (whether to themselves or to others) find connection again is one of the greatest joys of my work. Due to my work and training as a Couples and Family Therapist, I believe people can create and sustain stronger relationships through individual, family, or couples therapy.
Therapy can help you to strengthen the relationships that matter the most to you and to deepen your understanding and empathy for your own processes. In therapy, we will work together to address the concerns that matter the most to you. We will work collaboratively to examine patterns of thoughts and behaviors in a compassionate and empathetic environment. I am LGBTQ friendly.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I specialize in working with survivors of sexual abuse or assault. I also work with couples where one partner is a survivor of sexual abuseassault to address sexuality and intimacy issues. I have worked with survivors in many contexts, including individual, group, and couples therapy. Seeking support or therapy to address a sexual assault is a courageous step. Please let me know what I can do to make you feel safe and supported in your healing journey.
I particularly enjoy working with couples who are dealing with conflict, infidelity, general relationship problems, or who are seeking relationship enhancement. I also work with couples who are navigating a separation or divorce. I am LGBTQ friendly. Finally, I have experience working with adults for individual therapy around issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, family of origin issues, and personal growth.
