My Approach to Helping
Being in a relationship is difficult. Most of us were not taught how to communicate effectively when it comes to our feelings and emotions. We usually feel uncomfortable with others peoples emotions as a result. When this happens we usually either fight to get all of our words out and get everything out on the table, or we try to let things roll off our back and when stuff does get rough we want to go be alone to figure out how to “get over “whatever it is that we are feeling. My main goal in therapy is to help partners figure out where the gap is in their communication, and give them affective tools in order to be able to solve the root problems in their relationship.
