My Approach to Helping
My work with clients is based on acceptance, collaboration, and the value of relationships. My compassionate and supportive approach, combined with curiosity rather than judgment, allows clients to feel safe enough to do the work that leads to meaningful, long-term change.
I believe people hold valuable insight into their lives and with support can use their own instincts to find growth, healing, and fulfillment. In our work together, clients will be invited to lead the way with subtle guidance and direction from me.
I provide therapy for adults who are looking to explore their ways of thinking, behaving, feeling, and relating. I offer a space for you to explore what’s working and encourage curiosity to explore what’s not, why, and how to make any necessary changes. I also provide parent consultation when work is specific to parenting and the parent-child relationship.
It can be difficult and confusing knowing which therapist is a good fit for you. It is also the most important part of the process, as I believe the quality of the client-therapist relationship is most indicative of whether a client will progress towards his or her personal goals. I offer a free 20 minute consult to see if we are a good fit.
