My Approach to Helping
My calling is to support women and teen girls (15+) struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, relationships or multicultural issues. If you are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, resentful, you have a safe space here to explore your feelings, heal your emotional wound and embrace your vulnerability without being judged. I offer gentle and compassionate guidance that will help you feel relief, more control in your life and experience greater self love and acceptance. My hope is that in our sessions, you would feel a sense of respite from the world, connect more deeply with yourself and gain a new perspective on your life.
Generally, I integrate mindfulness principles to help you raise self-awareness and develop insight. Combined with evidence-based therapeutic modalities i.e. Psychodynamic, ACT, CBT, DBT, you will learn coping skills to help you feel better and enjoy your life more. I will tailor my approach to fit your needs and goals.
