My Approach to Helping

Welcome! I'm a compassionate and experienced therapist ready to help individuals and families. I have worked in high-pressure environments, helping individuals navigate through challenging situations and providing critical support during times of crisis. My expertise in crisis intervention and trauma has allowed me to guide and mentor other mental health professionals in this specialized field.

Throughout my career, I have acquired extensive training in various evidence-based therapeutic modalities. I am well-versed in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. Additionally, I have received training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a modality that emphasizes skills development for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I also hold an advanced certification through IS-ART for Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which is utilized for trauma therapy using bilateral stimulation. I firmly believes in the integration of trauma-based evidence in human science, utilizing research-backed approaches to address the complex needs of individuals and families in recovery. My expertise in trauma-informed care allows her to create a safe and nurturing environment, where clients can heal from past experiences, build resilience, and foster personal growth.

I look forward to making a positive difference in your life and the lives around you.
