My Approach to Helping
If you feel sadness, frustration, anger in work or relationships then psychotherapy is a safe place to get to the heart of the matter. My work involves guiding individuals and/or couples to uncover the obstacles preventing a feeling of happiness. I have an integral perspective for internal/external growth. Our work together will be supportive, loving, non-judgmental and directive if desired.
My practice contains many specialties but intimate relationships is the most common. Because this union is the closest we get to our vulnerabilities and growth edges it becomes the most difficult union in which to achieve balance and fulfillment. The relationship we have with our self is the relationship we will have with another.
My background includes a western clinical degree in counseling psychology and a doctorate in East-West Psychology. My work involves a mix of orientations depending on your particular difficulties. My education and experience has led me to believe that we can cultivate an attitude of acceptance as we go through the ups and downs of life.
