My Approach to Helping

As a caring, experienced psychologist, I offer a calming, private place to share your concerns, and to feel better about yourself and your life. I have had success helping people with relationship and other concerns, which can be hard to solve on your own. Easing your stress, increasing your self-confidence, and improving communication skills are building blocks of meaningful changes. Actively attending to your feelings, needs, and preferences will also empower you to have a more satisfying life. I'm interested in how your past affected you, but I am aware your goal is improving your life today.

Clients appreciate my warmth, skills, encouragement, and sense of humor. I have a down-to-earth style while offering supportive listening and specific feedback. Feeling understood and accepted is essential. During meetings, we will figure out together which strategies work best for you to mobilize your strengths and set achievable goals.

People I see often have difficulties with the following: personal or work relationships, communication skills, anxiety or stress, their job, self-image concerns, self-confidence, life direction questions, or depression. Single people may also have dating concerns. Please feel welcome to call and discuss your concerns or questions about starting therapy.
