What's My Approach to Therapy?

Is stress, anxiety, or depression affecting your sleep, relationships, work performance, or sense of self? As a licensed mental health therapist with over 20 years of experience, I provide specialized online therapy for adults struggling with anxiety and overthinking, depression and irritability, stress and burn out, parenting challenges, and difficult life transitions. My warm, empathic approach creates a safe space where we collaborate to harness your strengths and develop practical strategies for lasting change. Whether you’re seeking support for overwhelming emotions, parenting struggles, or navigating life changes, I’m here to help you set and achieve meaningful goals tailored to your unique circumstances and needs.

I integrate evidence-based therapies that I have Post-Graduate Training in:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - To understand how our thoughts, feelings and behaviors impact each other
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - To increase awareness and flexibility in how we think and act, and incorporate what matters to you
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) - To build emotional resilience and tolerate distress
- Mindfulness - To ground you in the present moment when our minds are reminding us of the past and trying to predict the future

This comprehensive approach helps cultivate deeper self-awareness, emotional resilience, and sustainable personal growth. From our first session, you’ll learn actionable skills to effectively manage life’s challenges and move toward a more fulfilling life.

Reach out today for a free 15-minute consultation where we will discuss your goals and how we can work together.

I am an out of network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients are able to use their out-of-network benefits for reimbursement. I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company. I also accept FSA HSA cards, which may be used for therapy.

My Practice & Services

I offer both short-term and long-term therapy depending on your needs and goals. Sessions are 45-60 minutes and available via a secure telehealth platform. Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

Finding a therapist is a deeply personal process, and one of the most important factors is simply how it feels to talk with them. Taking advantage of a free consultation can give you a sense of whether you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. It allows you an opportunity to see if you can imagine building a working relationship together. It's also important to consider the therapist's approach. While therapy can be a safe space to vent, meaningful progress often comes when the work is grounded in evidence-based practices. These approaches help ensure your sessions are not only supportive but also focused on your goals, values, and long-term growth.
