I work with adults who are high-functioning on the outside but experiencing anxiety, stress, depression or emotional exhaustion internally, particularly when these patterns begin to interfere with work, relationships, or overall well-being. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unable to find lasting balance despite their efforts. After 35 years as a therapist, I bring an integrated understanding of biological and psychosocial factors that influence emotional well-being. My approach is steady, collaborative, and focused on helping clients create meaningful and sustainable change. Support, exploration, learning new skills, and making connections are the essentials for moving forward toward a more balanced life. While in treatment, we will explore modalities that may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), holistic approaches, and the expressive therapies. Opportunities to explore creative outlets and the bodymind techniques.
