My Approach to Helping
Joy and distress are universal aspects of life that are deeply influenced by the unseen relationship we each maintain with our self. Our relationship with our self is so fundamental that it influences our decisions, our capacity for and interest in relationships with others, and even the vitality of our moment-to-moment experience. Meanwhile, the relationship we each develop with our self is so deeply ingrained in the way we experience our life that it can be difficult to observe how it influences our emotional experience. For most of us, this difficulty increases when stress or emotional turmoil increase in our life, making it all the more challenging to work through loss, sadness, anxiety, lack of meaning and other normal life phases on our own.

The aim of our work will be to collaborate toward an increased experience of depth, meaning and self-assurance in your life. Developing a deepened understanding of oneself along with practical knowledge for addressing the many challenges that we each can expect to encounter throughout the course of life are reasonable goals and expectations for therapy. Our approach will be tailored to your current situation, and needs. As a psychologist for clients who chose to honor the mystery of life through their willingness to understand and develop their own inner life, I frequently witness the discovery and application of innate strengths and workable solutions to existing problems. If you find yourself at a personal crossroads and you decide that you are interested in meeting, I encourage you to contact my practice.
