My Approach to Helping
I work with adolescents and adults of all life stages to improve functioning and to enhance overall life satisfaction. I collaborate with clients to come up with reasonable, attainable goals for positive life change. I see clients as partners in the therapeutic process, and I aim to empower my clients to continue personal growth well beyond the context of therapy.
To begin the process and to determine if I am a good fit for your goals, I will meet with you for a free one-hour consultation to discuss your current presenting concerns, to understand possible past contributing factors to these concerns, and to brainstorm potential directions for therapy.
I obtained my PhD in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Chicago, and have had extensive experience working with students, faculty and staff members of several university communities.
