My Approach to Therapy

Life can be overwhelming, and sometimes we need extra support to navigate its challenges. In therapy sessions with me, you will find an open, inclusive space where I specialize in working with teens and adults facing adjustment issues, anxiety, OCD, depression, selective mutism (SM), and oppositional defiant (ODD). Whether you're struggling with life transitions, boundary relationship issues, intense emotions, patterns that feel difficult to break, or are looking to learn coping skills, Im here to help. My approach is client-centered, tailoring each session to meet you where you are. I believe in creating a safe, compassionate space where you can express yourself without judgment. Together, we'll work on building insight, resilience, and practical skills to manage emotions and behaviors effectively and ultimately help you thrive. I integrate dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) techniques to help clients develop mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Additionally, for children and families, I use Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to strengthen relationships and build confidence in communication and behavior management.
