I have extensive experience and advanced training in working with individuals and couples who are facing difficulties stemming from conflict, stress and anxiety, sadness and depression, parenting concerns, relationship concerns, and more. As a team, we will work together to help you productively manage conflicts and build strong communication skills. My interest in the field of marriage and family began over 20 years ago when I took my first undergraduate psychology course in Adolescence and Young Adulthood. This course fueled my passion for psychology and I began working with children, teens, and families at a crisis center, enrolled in a graduate program for marriage and family therapy, and even became a school psychologist. My enthusiasm for this field has continued to grow and working with teens and families still holds a special place in my practice. My clients can expect a sincere, respectful, and peaceful environment from the moment they begin their work with me. At times, therapy sessions may be emotionally demanding and difficult; however, therapy can bring about incredible positive transformations. I am committed to being the best therapist I can be and have trained with some of the most innovative psychologists and therapists in the field.
