My Approach to Helping
My approach is strength-based with a primary focus on building a collaborative and safe therapeutic relationship. I use evidenced-based treatment methods, e.g., cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, EMDR, and body-focused approaches, to help you identify and access your personal wisdom, tap into your innate strength and resilience, develop new coping strategies and move forward to meet your personal goals.

The length of therapy varies, but many issues can be resolved in weeks, rather than months. We will review progress on a regular basis and collaboratively adjust your treatment plan as necessary. I often assign homework, as continuing your work outside of therapy sessions will help you reach and maintain your individual goals more quickly.
