My Approach to Helping
Have you been struggling with feelings of anxiety or depression? Are you finding it difficult to cope with a major life transition? Do you want to develop more meaningful connections with the people in your life? I believe that change happens as we become more in touch with and accepting about who we are. My approach to therapy is to provide you with support that is compassionate and effective and draws on your strengths. I will work collaboratively with you to build on the inner resources you already have for growth, change and healing. Together, we will work on living your fullest and most rewarding life.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

My practice primarily centers around working with adults, new parents, students and people in the helping profession (social workers, nurses, therapists). Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, life transitions issues, addiction and trauma. I also have a particular interest in working with new parents. As a mother and a working professional, I value and appreciate how difficult it can be to navigate the world of parenthood and achieve balance in other areas of your life. I am also particularly interested in working with new mothers around issues of post-partum depression and traumatic birth.
