My Approach to Therapy

Hello, My name is Shereema Molette and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I have been a therapist for 15 years working in numerous settings in the human service field. I have worked with children and adults addressing various issues and concerns. I currently work at non-profit supervising therapists that work in the Philadelphia School District. My passion has always been to help others and I feel fulfilled working in the field of psychology. My expertise spans many different areas but my true passion is working with children and adults as they navigate bipolar and other classified Mood and Personality Disorders. Also, I enjoy working with the LGBTIA+ community. I am certified as a Grief Speciality and trained in Faith-Based Recovery. I consider my style of therapy eclectic and I shape sessions according to the client. As a therapist, it is very important to have multiple facets that can be pulled out of your therapy bag that can be adjusted to fit the needs of the client.

My Practice & Services

My practice is telehealth base, I do not accept in-person clients at the cturrent time.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

As a part of the African American community, there has been a stigma attached to those who attend counseling as being "crazy". My mission is to eradication the stigma of mental health through professional counseling to address the stressors of life.
