My Approach to Helping

Therapy can be a powerful tool for healing and transformation. I offer a safe, trusting environment where the full range of feelings and experiences are welcome. With empathy and respect, I guide people into listening to, engaging with, and understanding themselves thereby helping them to become more aware of and trust their authentic self.

I have a deep respect for and love of this work and trust each person’s psyche to inform where growth is ready to happen. Anxiety, depression and discomfort often signal that something important is going on that needs to be closely attended to within the person. When listened and attended to, these symptoms have the potential to connect the person with strengths and gifts that she or he had previously been unaware of.

My style is both warm and sensitive, direct and engaging. Experiential and Depth oriented, my approach nurtures growth and development through close empathic attunement to each person’s uniqueness. I feel honored to be able to participate in and witness the transformation that therapy can bring. I work both with individuals and with couples. Initial consultations are welcome so you can get a sense of who I am and how I work.
