What's My Approach to Therapy?

Adults seek me out to resolve the anxiety, depression, addictions, and self-sabotaging behaviors that make it difficult to relax and accept themselves as they are.

I've helped clients for 22 years and offer attachment-focused EMDR, mindfulness-based somatic therapy, and parts work. These approaches tend to create more enduring change than insights gained through talk therapy alone. I use talk therapy to integrate the insights gained via direct experience from working with inner material.

My Practice & Services

I'm a seasoned trauma therapist, and especially helpful with people still dealing with difficult childhoods. I also help people with addictions and habits that overwhelm them, such as perfectionism.

In session, I'm active, warm, and collaborative. I'm guided by listening from my heart to help my clients feel seen and understood.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I am skilled at helping people move through the residue of Trauma, and early relationship wounding. I use Somatic Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Attachment focused EMDR and Janina Fisher's parts work (Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment). I work in the here-and-now, creating experiences to directly learn from.
I have also focus on positive experiences, celebrating the changes they've made along the way. This is in addition to teaching clients how to ground themselves when they start to feel too anxious or activated.
